forehead skin repair due to minoxidil abuse

The skin on my forehead has been damaged quite a bit due to the abuse of minoxidil and incorrect application, it seems that it always fell quite a bit on my forehead, minoxidil contains a lot of alcohol. Will moisturizing cream be enough or is something stronger necessary, perhaps tetritoin?
