Foreign Accent Vs No Accent

Should I fraud and give myself an accent when speaking english. I’m from eastern europe but I don’t have an accent because i started speaking english when i was 5.

Also i have an american accent when speaking my native language. Can anyone give me advice on how to get rid of it. Should I start reading books in my language? In my house I only speak in my language and I only use english outside of my house.

so 2 questions,

is it a good idea to fraud an accent or should i already keep my american voice as it is?
