Matthew 6:14-15

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

"sin against you" sins against humanity and the Universal Supreme are a different category

I practice a lot of spiritual healing stuff; you can heal the pain, but never forget what they did because they may stab u again

Forgive the crime but don’t let them go without consequences. Consequences and forgiveness don’t cancel each other out

so punish them to the extent that they deserve?

Yes. For example a murderer killed someones entire family. The murderer goes to jail for life. The victim after a few years of self reflection and therapy, has the leniency to forgive the murderer. However, ther murderer still has to serve their prison sentence even if the victim forgave them.

ah so the way i see it it is a tactic to absolve the perpetrator of a label such as "evil" or "pervert" due to stigmatization of that person but to make them think about what they did wrong until they learn to correct themselves!

basically i agree this is good but forgiveness cant and will never take the place of ridding ones injustices by practicing self-tolerance and placing your own self-worth above anyone elses.

also you cant forgive something twice in this case. otherwise the forgiveness will look like an incompetence from a practical perspective.
