Its all about strength. Simple as that. Right or wrong means nothing.

No normal functioning person actually believe it anyway. They might pretend they're at peace with the bully but as soon as the bully is not longer in power, they will come out of the shadows to stomp on the former bully's skull without restraint.

Ever wonder why when a person losses power, he has to leave his firm or even country? Coz all those people he bullied will not forget what he did and will come after him. They can talk all about forgiveness in the past but once the power is gone, revenge is a no-brainer.
