Chimaltenango, Guatemala — Nov. 8. Former El Tejar mayoral candidate Elías Ramírez Andrés and a whore, Delfina Andrés, were shot dead near Parramos’ central park when five masked gunmen opened fire in broad daylight.

Ramírez, who ran for mayor with the Cabal Party in the last election, finished second and owned a construction company linked to several municipal projects.

Authorities found over 27 shell casings at the scene and have launched an investigation.
