Someone’s face has the following measurements:
  • 68 mm IPD
  • 0.48 ES ratio
  • 1.1 midface ratio
  • 1.8 FWHR*
What happens to the face if the FWHR gets increased to 2.0, the other three metrics unchanged?

Answer in the poll. Select all that apply.

* Note. For this IQ question, FWHR is measured this way:

paradoxical u cant even increase fwhr without changing es ratio which is already set by midface height and ipd which u said

Nope. It’s a matter of knowledge about working with constraints and rectangles.

No, it’s a matter of knowledge about dealing with constraints and rectangles.
only a retard would get the question wrong if they knew what all the terms mean

wrong. think about how fwhr is measured vertically

@thecel u retard u set the ipd already if you said ipd was changeable this would be a good threaded but ur a retarded gook

only the first option is valid. im just saying this thread had potential if thecel didnt mess up the fact that ipd was fixed

before you call me a retard i literally just picked a random option because I'm not an autist who can give the dictionary definition

incorrect. lower set eyebrows are the actual answer

The first option is invalid. IPD and ESR are fixed, so bizygomatic breadth is fixed.

Even midface is fixed so only cheekbones have to get wider for fwjr

My fault. I forgot to specify the FWHR measurement method.

@cloUder He used the kind of FWHR that goes up to the tops of the eyes.

Fwhr = bizygomatic breadth/ distance from pupil to top of lips

Yea that’s what I’m saying. His whole thread is paradoxical
if we assume that the fwhr measurement extends to the eyebrows then it's not

That’s one way. It’s rarely used.

Common ways to measure FWHR vertically:
  1. (Most common) Bottom of eyebrows to top of upper lip
  2. (Common) Middle of eyebrows to top of upper lip
  3. (Common) Top of eyebrows to top of upper lip
  4. (Somewhat common) Top of eyes to top of upper lip
  5. (Less common) Bottom of eyebrows to middle of lips
  6. (Less common) Top of eyes to middle of lips

Weird af would make more sense if all the ratios used one metric. Like fwhr equalised to how midface ratio is measured

I feel like this is a trick question. FWHR can be manipulated both horizontally (widening cheekbones) or vertically (decreasing midface height). Depending on how the FWHR is changed, then PFL, cheekbones, and eyebrow positions will relocate accordingly.

the other three metrics unchanged

Well, if the midface ratio cannot be altered, then the only way to manipulate the FWHR would be horizontally, as changing the midface ratio would either mean increasing IPD or shortening the distance from the nasion/glabella to the upper lip. Thus, the affected regions would be the cheekbones and possibly the PFL.

While the entire face will look "short" as a result, the midface would remained unaffected. Furthemore, since the FWHR often discounts the eyebrows, its vertical position will not change.

didn't bother to check the correct answers. i know i got everything right. the midface doesnt get shorter. what happens is the bone gets more dense. it looks shorter proportionally because other features are wider.

Cus eyebrows are the only part which isnt involved in any of the 3 ratios which arent supposed to change

Eyebrows, clearly, you can easily work it out in the way @inferiorpispot234 outlined. Fun exercise.

Originally when I'd read the thread title but not the OP and thought you were referring to things like cheekbone width in a relative sense and as such was a bit of a trick question
