A lot of people on here are struggling with their forward growth and overall bonemass.

This guide will contain every single method on how you can fix forward growth flaws both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

The guide will be split up into two categories, one for hardmaxxing, (basically taking it a step further, being open for surgical procedures etc), and the other one is for softmaxxing, (not as effective or fast result, but is worth it if you cant get surgery).

How is facial recession caused?

Facial reccession can be caused by a very good amount of different factors, and as we all know genetics takes a very big role in how we look towards other, even how we act and think is affected by our genetics. But there are VERY important factors you might miss out on if youre too focused on just your genetics.

Here we see an comparison drawing of two middle aged - young girls. The one on the left is a nose breather, so she basically breathes through her nose all of the time, even at night.

In the drawing to the right we see a mouthbreather, so instead of breathing with her nose she constantly breathes like a dog.

And whats the consequenses of these two types of breathing techniques? For nasal breathing you get more attractive, your body works better etc. And for mouth breathing you will get less attractive, and you will probably get several health problems, such as not getting enough air into your pathaways.

A very important factor: genetics, around 75% of your face is determined by your genetics, shown by various studies on twins. But you can still try to fix these flaws that your genetics cursed you with, both with softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

How do i know if im recessed or not?

There are two main types of recessions people have. One is chin recession, (under your lips), some people also call this jaw recession. The other one is maxillary recession, the maxilla is often refered to as the ”bone of beauty” as this bone basically determines how half of your face looks, and having it recessed is an terribly big flaw.

Hollow or sunken under-eye region:

This is often very noticeable if you got it or not. Just look at your side profile in the mirror, is it sunken or hollow? Then its probably recessed, and a lot of people might say ”thats actually the infraorbital rims that are recessed” well guess what, most of the time a recessed maxilla leads to recessed infraorbital rims, or might even make it look like they are recessed.

A prominent nose:

Yes, this could ofcourse also be genetics, a lot of people got big noses but a great maxilla, im very aware. Though a big thing you see on females is this, they are very insecure about their noses, when its their maxilla that is actually the problem, some might get a rhinoplasthy (nose surgery), and think they will look awesome, and they might look better, but that recessed maxilla will still be there, making them look a lot worse.

An important factor to be aware of:

Many people both have a recessed maxilla and a recessed chin/lower jaw, some ”only” have an recessed maxilla, such as robert pattinson. This is why overbites is a thing you need to be aware of, an overbite often makes your jaw look more protruding, while your maxilla sits flat and looks recessed.

How to know if your chin is recessed or not.

This is very easy to know if you ask me, look at yourself in the mirror, is your chin prominent or not, i got an example to make it easier for you.

The one to the left has a very noticeable recessed chin, she has very obviously mouth breathed a lot in her youth, which has led to this horrendous looking chin.

And then the one to the right, she has a more forward grown chin, it looks much more attractive and will help you with your breathing, and much much more.

So tell me, which one looks the most attractive? This doesnt even need to be a question, even a monkey would say that the prominent jaw is more attractive, and this is just basic human biology.

Now i have told you how to know if youre recessed or not, now if you are recessed, you need to fix it. I will cover all the ways to fix facial recession, both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing, and if something isn’t proven, i will quote that it is not proven, and only a theory.

Softmaxxing includes natural ways to improve, so all that will be quoted in this part.

Mewing is very much basic knowledge, almost everyone under the age of 18 knows what mewing is, but doesn’t take mewing seriously, this is the first mistake a lot of people do.

”Well how do i mew correctly?” A lot of people might ask.

And its very simple, i will show you an image to make it even easier to understand.

Basically mewing is just pushing your tounge to the roof of your mouth, as this is the natural tounge position which will help your pallate get wider, and make you get more forward growth.

Now do this at all times, everytime you arent speaking, mew, it might feel unnatural at first, but trust me it works if you are consistent enough.

”Well how does this make you look better?”

Mewing is based on the belief that proper tongue placement exerts gentle, continuous pressure on the upper jaw (maxilla), which can influence overall bone structure and facial form.

Before we talked about tounge posture, now we will talk about overall body posture.

”Well how does this affect my forward growth?”

It doesn’t.

Instead it gives you the illusion of having better forward growth, i have an example right here in form of a picture.

Here you want to be like the guy in the middle, he has good posture which signs to others that he has high confidence and that he is an overall nice guy.

”Now how do i fix my shitty posture?”

Easier than most people think, by a lot. I will split this up into two parts. One being exercises, and one being mindset.

Posture exercises:

My personal favorite posture exercise is chin tucks, while laying down on the edge of the bed.

Think of it like this, your head is at the edge of the bed and you just hop back another 10 centimeters so your head is resting on nothing.

Then you curl your head upwards and into your neck, make yourself get the biggest triple neck you have ever seen, and then go down again fully so you stretch fully.

Do this until failure before going to bed or in the morning.

Mindset:

Having a good mindset is not cope. Just have this in your mind all of the time: ”i need to have good posture”, with this in your mind, everytime you catch yourself slacking with ass posture, you can easily just shake it off and fix it easily.

And what are you really sacrificing with having good posture? Comfort? Do you really think any foids care about how comfortable you sit, stand or lay down? No they do not care at all, its your looks and only your looks that count.

Spoiler: Hard chewing

Hard chewing works your masseter muscles, and there are theories about it growing your bones too through all the tension.

But is this proven?

As any other part of the body, the face has lots of muscles, which as any other part of the body, is trainable. We use our facial muscles every single second, every single tiny move that even our human eye can’t catch uses our facial muscles.

Now you might wonder what the masseter muscles are?

As we see here, the masseter muscle is very close to our mouth, and super close to our cheekbones.

And this means that we can fake our cheekbones, by getting bigger masseter muscles.

”But how do i get bigger masseter muscles?”

You work your masseter muscles by chewing, so thats exactly what we are going to do.

I recommend a very hard gum, such as falim or mastic gum. You want to chew this for 20-60 minutes per day, and not more. If you chew too much and too hard you can get TMJ, which you do not want.

Now if you do not have access to either falim or mastic gum, normal gum works perfectly. Now what you want to do is to wet your normal gum every five minutes. This will make it harder and replicate a harder gum naturally.

Now does chewing grow bones?

I will make an example here.

When a beginner on the gym is very skinny, he has close to no muscles and the bones in his body arent that thick, as they dont need to carry much.

But when this guy has gone to the gym for two years and have gotten a lot of muscles, the bones had to adapt to the new weight and press on them, which made them thicker.

So by theory, the bones should grow thicker by doing this.

Spoiler: Bonesmashing

Bonesmashing is very controversial, and there are many theories about it, so i will only quote what is proven here.

The swelling effect:

This is the main part we are looking for, and this is the only part i know works for sure, when you hit your bones, preferably with your knuckles, they get swollen, now this is not a permanent effect, but its perfect for a night out with your friends, or anything similar to that.

Well how do i bonesmash correctly then?

A lot of reps, (repetitions), and not that much power in all of the hits. Now some ethnicel will probably say ”nooo you need to bonesmash hard so your bones grow it works for me bro it works bro trust me”, what we are after is the temporary swelling effect, which in my experience is easiest and safest achievable by doing a lot of repetitions and not that much power into all of the hits.

We are not looking to have bruises, this is also a good argument on why many reps and low power is better, in case you do not want to wear foundation on your cheekbones, then dont do it too hard.

Where do i bonesmash?

Dont bonesmash your maxilla, you gain nothing from it but worse skin quality and pain. The most popular places on your face to bonesmash though are these ones:

The zygomatics / the zygos, these are your upper cheekbones which are what makes some people have ”hollow cheeks”.

Another one is the browridge, pretty self explanatory, just from the edge of one eyebrow to the edge of another.

And the last is your chin, dont clench when you bonesmash your chin, can cause harm to your teeth and descend you.

☬ Hardmaxxing ☬

In this part, surgical / unnatural ways to get better forward growth will be discussed.

In this surgery, the maxilla is pulled away from the rest of the skull and postioned back again but more forward.

The risk of this procedure is very low, and very rewarding. I definetly recommend this to you if you have a recessed maxilla.

The ramus is split and the body advanced forward to correct your receded jaw, improving the lower third and bite.

Double jaw surgery (djj/bimax)

Combines Lefort 1 + BSSO for correction of both jaws, often with counterclockwise rotation (ccw rotation) to maximize forward projection and facial harmony.

Genioplasty (chin surgery)
Sliding genioplasty cuts and advances the chin bone forward, or just adjusts it. Can be done alone or with bimax.
It upgrades chin projection without moving the entire mandible

While it might look retarded, it actually pulls your maxilla forward slowly, note that it isnt a quick treatment, but its worth it in the end.

Just make sure that your doctor gives you the right size etc, cause if she fucks up, its your life that goes down the drain.

Unfortuanely its mostly dento alveolar effects rather than true craniofacial repositioning according to multiple studies.

BAMP

Implants are a great way to ascend quickly, its cheap and effective, how much better can it get?

I will quote some different implants you can get and you choose for yourself which one seems the most fitting.

Custom or standard implants

Silicone, Medpor or PEEK implants are the alternatives and the ones you can choose from.

You can place these on your maxilla, or jaw, or wherever you want pretty much.

It can easily mimic natural forward growth if thats what you are looking for.

Personally i would very much recommend PEEK implants, these might be the most expensive, but its for an reason, dont go the cheap way and get botched.

Paranasal Implants

L-shaped paranasal implants are effective if the maxilla is flat rather than truly recessed.

It adds nice projection to the nasal base, it can look like you got a rhinoplasty, which is a big yes.

Expectations: 5-6mm projection max, and it does NOT replicate lefort’s level.

Onlay grafts or fat grafting

You take fat from one place of your body, and you put it in the desired area.

Many of the times you take unwanted fat, such as stomach fat and put in where you might be recessed, such as in your infraorbitals or maxilla.

Diy fillers

Personally i would have just gotten them fixed at my nearest clinic, but for brokies or for people saving money this is a very good alternative to it.

If you wish to do Diy fillers, i suggest you to make a lot of research, so that you dont end up looking worse than before.

Human Growth Hormone / HGH

Prescribed for deficiency in children to support overall and facial growth.
It influences periosteal apposition, condylar cartilage, and mandibular length (especially ramus), potentially improving facial profile in growing patients.

This does not work if your growth plates are closed. Sorry all uncs.

Some of the risks are:

Fluid retention, muscle pain, insulin resistance or diabetes, organ enlargement, higher cancer or cardiovascular risk.

hgh generally does not work to increase height at age 18, as growth plates in the bones are usually closed, preventing further height gain but if your height plates arent closed there is a good chance you can still grow from it.

It adds nice projection to the nasal base, it can look like you got a rhinoplasty, which is a big yes.

A lot of people on here are struggling with their forward growth and overall bonemass.

This guide will contain every single method on how you can fix forward growth flaws both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

The guide will be split up into two categories, one for hardmaxxing, (basically taking it a step further, being open for surgical procedures etc), and the other one is for softmaxxing, (not as effective or fast result, but is worth it if you cant get surgery).

How is facial recession caused?

Facial reccession can be caused by a very good amount of different factors, and as we all know genetics takes a very big role in how we look towards other, even how we act and think is affected by our genetics. But there are VERY important factors you might miss out on if youre too focused on just your genetics.

Here we see an comparison drawing of two middle aged - young girls. The one on the left is a nose breather, so she basically breathes through her nose all of the time, even at night.

In the drawing to the right we see a mouthbreather, so instead of breathing with her nose she constantly breathes like a dog.

And whats the consequenses of these two types of breathing techniques? For nasal breathing you get more attractive, your body works better etc. And for mouth breathing you will get less attractive, and you will probably get several health problems, such as not getting enough air into your pathaways.

A very important factor: genetics, around 75% of your face is determined by your genetics, shown by various studies on twins. But you can still try to fix these flaws that your genetics cursed you with, both with softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

How do i know if im recessed or not?

There are two main types of recessions people have. One is chin recession, (under your lips), some people also call this jaw recession. The other one is maxillary recession, the maxilla is often refered to as the ”bone of beauty” as this bone basically determines how half of your face looks, and having it recessed is an terribly big flaw.

This is often very noticeable if you got it or not. Just look at your side profile in the mirror, is it sunken or hollow? Then its probably recessed, and a lot of people might say ”thats actually the infraorbital rims that are recessed” well guess what, most of the time a recessed maxilla leads to recessed infraorbital rims, or might even make it look like they are recessed.

A prominent nose:

Yes, this could ofcourse also be genetics, a lot of people got big noses but a great maxilla, im very aware. Though a big thing you see on females is this, they are very insecure about their noses, when its their maxilla that is actually the problem, some might get a rhinoplasthy (nose surgery), and think they will look awesome, and they might look better, but that recessed maxilla will still be there, making them look a lot worse.

An important factor to be aware of:

Many people both have a recessed maxilla and a recessed chin/lower jaw, some ”only” have an recessed maxilla, such as robert pattinson. This is why overbites is a thing you need to be aware of, an overbite often makes your jaw look more protruding, while your maxilla sits flat and looks recessed.

How to know if your chin is recessed or not.

This is very easy to know if you ask me, look at yourself in the mirror, is your chin prominent or not, i got an example to make it easier for you.

And then the one to the right, she has a more forward grown chin, it looks much more attractive and will help you with your breathing, and much much more.

So tell me, which one looks the most attractive? This doesnt even need to be a question, even a monkey would say that the prominent jaw is more attractive, and this is just basic human biology.

Now i have told you how to know if youre recessed or not, now if you are recessed, you need to fix it. I will cover all the ways to fix facial recession, both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing, and if something isn’t proven, i will quote that it is not proven, and only a theory.

Mewing is very much basic knowledge, almost everyone under the age of 18 knows what mewing is, but doesn’t take mewing seriously, this is the first mistake a lot of people do.

Basically mewing is just pushing your tounge to the roof of your mouth, as this is the natural tounge position which will help your pallate get wider, and make you get more forward growth.

Now do this at all times, everytime you arent speaking, mew, it might feel unnatural at first, but trust me it works if you are consistent enough.

”Well how does this make you look better?”

Mewing is based on the belief that proper tongue placement exerts gentle, continuous pressure on the upper jaw (maxilla), which can influence overall bone structure and facial form.

Before we talked about tounge posture, now we will talk about overall body posture.

”Well how does this affect my forward growth?”

It doesn’t.

Instead it gives you the illusion of having better forward growth, i have an example right here in form of a picture.

This guy looks pretty geeked in both pictures, but he still looks much better when he has better posture.

Here you want to be like the guy in the middle, he has good posture which signs to others that he has high confidence and that he is an overall nice guy.

”Now how do i fix my shitty posture?”

Easier than most people think, by a lot. I will split this up into two parts. One being exercises, and one being mindset.

Posture exercises:

My personal favorite posture exercise is chin tucks, while laying down on the edge of the bed.

Think of it like this, your head is at the edge of the bed and you just hop back another 10 centimeters so your head is resting on nothing.

Then you curl your head upwards and into your neck, make yourself get the biggest triple neck you have ever seen, and then go down again fully so you stretch fully.

Do this until failure before going to bed or in the morning.

Mindset:

Having a good mindset is not cope. Just have this in your mind all of the time: ”i need to have good posture”, with this in your mind, everytime you catch yourself slacking with ass posture, you can easily just shake it off and fix it easily.

And what are you really sacrificing with having good posture? Comfort? Do you really think any foids care about how comfortable you sit, stand or lay down? No they do not care at all, its your looks and only your looks that count.

Spoiler: Hard chewing

Hard chewing works your masseter muscles, and there are theories about it growing your bones too through all the tension.

But is this proven?

As any other part of the body, the face has lots of muscles, which as any other part of the body, is trainable. We use our facial muscles every single second, every single tiny move that even our human eye can’t catch uses our facial muscles.

Now you might wonder what the masseter muscles are?

As we see here, the masseter muscle is very close to our mouth, and super close to our cheekbones.

And this means that we can fake our cheekbones, by getting bigger masseter muscles.

”But how do i get bigger masseter muscles?”

You work your masseter muscles by chewing, so thats exactly what we are going to do.

I recommend a very hard gum, such as falim or mastic gum. You want to chew this for 20-60 minutes per day, and not more. If you chew too much and too hard you can get TMJ, which you do not want.

Now if you do not have access to either falim or mastic gum, normal gum works perfectly. Now what you want to do is to wet your normal gum every five minutes. This will make it harder and replicate a harder gum naturally.

Now does chewing grow bones?

I will make an example here.

When a beginner on the gym is very skinny, he has close to no muscles and the bones in his body arent that thick, as they dont need to carry much.

But when this guy has gone to the gym for two years and have gotten a lot of muscles, the bones had to adapt to the new weight and press on them, which made them thicker.

So by theory, the bones should grow thicker by doing this.

Spoiler: Bonesmashing

Bonesmashing is very controversial, and there are many theories about it, so i will only quote what is proven here.

The swelling effect:

This is the main part we are looking for, and this is the only part i know works for sure, when you hit your bones, preferably with your knuckles, they get swollen, now this is not a permanent effect, but its perfect for a night out with your friends, or anything similar to that.

Well how do i bonesmash correctly then?

A lot of reps, (repetitions), and not that much power in all of the hits. Now some ethnicel will probably say ”nooo you need to bonesmash hard so your bones grow it works for me bro it works bro trust me”, what we are after is the temporary swelling effect, which in my experience is easiest and safest achievable by doing a lot of repetitions and not that much power into all of the hits.

We are not looking to have bruises, this is also a good argument on why many reps and low power is better, in case you do not want to wear foundation on your cheekbones, then dont do it too hard.

Where do i bonesmash?

Dont bonesmash your maxilla, you gain nothing from it but worse skin quality and pain. The most popular places on your face to bonesmash though are these ones:

The zygomatics / the zygos, these are your upper cheekbones which are what makes some people have ”hollow cheeks”.

Another one is the browridge, pretty self explanatory, just from the edge of one eyebrow to the edge of another.

And the last is your chin, dont clench when you bonesmash your chin, can cause harm to your teeth and descend you.

In this part, surgical / unnatural ways to get better forward growth will be discussed.

Dont bonesmash your maxilla, you gain nothing from it but worse skin quality and pain. The most popular places on your face to bonesmash though are these ones:

The zygomatics / the zygos, these are your upper cheekbones which are what makes some people have ”hollow cheeks”.

Another one is the browridge, pretty self explanatory, just from the edge of one eyebrow to the edge of another.

This guide will contain every single method on how you can fix forward growth flaws both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

How is facial recession caused?

Facial reccession can be caused by a very good amount of different factors, and as we all know genetics takes a very big role in how we look towards other, even how we act and think is affected by our genetics. But there are VERY important factors you might miss out on if youre too focused on just your genetics.

Here we see an comparison drawing of two middle aged - young girls. The one on the left is a nose breather, so she basically breathes through her nose all of the time, even at night.

In the drawing to the right we see a mouthbreather, so instead of breathing with her nose she constantly breathes like a dog.

And whats the consequenses of these two types of breathing techniques? For nasal breathing you get more attractive, your body works better etc. And for mouth breathing you will get less attractive, and you will probably get several health problems, such as not getting enough air into your pathaways.

A very important factor: genetics, around 75% of your face is determined by your genetics, shown by various studies on twins. But you can still try to fix these flaws that your genetics cursed you with, both with softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

How do i know if im recessed or not?

There are two main types of recessions people have. One is chin recession, (under your lips), some people also call this jaw recession. The other one is maxillary recession, the maxilla is often refered to as the ”bone of beauty” as this bone basically determines how half of your face looks, and having it recessed is an terribly big flaw.

A prominent nose:

Yes, this could ofcourse also be genetics, a lot of people got big noses but a great maxilla, im very aware. Though a big thing you see on females is this, they are very insecure about their noses, when its their maxilla that is actually the problem, some might get a rhinoplasthy (nose surgery), and think they will look awesome, and they might look better, but that recessed maxilla will still be there, making them look a lot worse.

An important factor to be aware of:

Many people both have a recessed maxilla and a recessed chin/lower jaw, some ”only” have an recessed maxilla, such as robert pattinson. This is why overbites is a thing you need to be aware of, an overbite often makes your jaw look more protruding, while your maxilla sits flat and looks recessed.

How to know if your chin is recessed or not.

This is very easy to know if you ask me, look at yourself in the mirror, is your chin prominent or not, i got an example to make it easier for you.

And then the one to the right, she has a more forward grown chin, it looks much more attractive and will help you with your breathing, and much much more.

Basically mewing is just pushing your tounge to the roof of your mouth, as this is the natural tounge position which will help your pallate get wider, and make you get more forward growth.

Now do this at all times, everytime you arent speaking, mew, it might feel unnatural at first, but trust me it works if you are consistent enough.

”Well how does this make you look better?”

Mewing is based on the belief that proper tongue placement exerts gentle, continuous pressure on the upper jaw (maxilla), which can influence overall bone structure and facial form.

It doesn’t.

Here you want to be like the guy in the middle, he has good posture which signs to others that he has high confidence and that he is an overall nice guy.

”Now how do i fix my shitty posture?”

Easier than most people think, by a lot. I will split this up into two parts. One being exercises, and one being mindset.

Posture exercises:

My personal favorite posture exercise is chin tucks, while laying down on the edge of the bed.

Think of it like this, your head is at the edge of the bed and you just hop back another 10 centimeters so your head is resting on nothing.

Then you curl your head upwards and into your neck, make yourself get the biggest triple neck you have ever seen, and then go down again fully so you stretch fully.

Do this until failure before going to bed or in the morning.

Mindset:

Having a good mindset is not cope. Just have this in your mind all of the time: ”i need to have good posture”, with this in your mind, everytime you catch yourself slacking with ass posture, you can easily just shake it off and fix it easily.

And what are you really sacrificing with having good posture? Comfort? Do you really think any foids care about how comfortable you sit, stand or lay down? No they do not care at all, its your looks and only your looks that count.

Hard chewing works your masseter muscles, and there are theories about it growing your bones too through all the tension.

But is this proven?

As any other part of the body, the face has lots of muscles, which as any other part of the body, is trainable. We use our facial muscles every single second, every single tiny move that even our human eye can’t catch uses our facial muscles.

Now you might wonder what the masseter muscles are?

As we see here, the masseter muscle is very close to our mouth, and super close to our cheekbones.

And this means that we can fake our cheekbones, by getting bigger masseter muscles.

”But how do i get bigger masseter muscles?”

You work your masseter muscles by chewing, so thats exactly what we are going to do.

I recommend a very hard gum, such as falim or mastic gum. You want to chew this for 20-60 minutes per day, and not more. If you chew too much and too hard you can get TMJ, which you do not want.

Now if you do not have access to either falim or mastic gum, normal gum works perfectly. Now what you want to do is to wet your normal gum every five minutes. This will make it harder and replicate a harder gum naturally.

Now does chewing grow bones?

I will make an example here.

When a beginner on the gym is very skinny, he has close to no muscles and the bones in his body arent that thick, as they dont need to carry much.

But when this guy has gone to the gym for two years and have gotten a lot of muscles, the bones had to adapt to the new weight and press on them, which made them thicker.

So by theory, the bones should grow thicker by doing this.

Bonesmashing is very controversial, and there are many theories about it, so i will only quote what is proven here.

I will make an example here.

When a beginner on the gym is very skinny, he has close to no muscles and the bones in his body arent that thick, as they dont need to carry much.

But when this guy has gone to the gym for two years and have gotten a lot of muscles, the bones had to adapt to the new weight and press on them, which made them thicker.

So by theory, the bones should grow thicker by doing this.

Where do i bonesmash?

Dont bonesmash your maxilla, you gain nothing from it but worse skin quality and pain. The most popular places on your face to bonesmash though are these ones:

The zygomatics / the zygos, these are your upper cheekbones which are what makes some people have ”hollow cheeks”.

Another one is the browridge, pretty self explanatory, just from the edge of one eyebrow to the edge of another.

And the last is your chin, dont clench when you bonesmash your chin, can cause harm to your teeth and descend you.

Facial reccession can be caused by a very good amount of different factors, and as we all know genetics takes a very big role in how we look towards other, even how we act and think is affected by our genetics. But there are VERY important factors you might miss out on if youre too focused on just your genetics.

Here we see an comparison drawing of two middle aged - young girls. The one on the left is a nose breather, so she basically breathes through her nose all of the time, even at night.

In the drawing to the right we see a mouthbreather, so instead of breathing with her nose she constantly breathes like a dog.

And whats the consequenses of these two types of breathing techniques? For nasal breathing you get more attractive, your body works better etc. And for mouth breathing you will get less attractive, and you will probably get several health problems, such as not getting enough air into your pathaways.

A very important factor: genetics, around 75% of your face is determined by your genetics, shown by various studies on twins. But you can still try to fix these flaws that your genetics cursed you with, both with softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

How do i know if im recessed or not?

There are two main types of recessions people have. One is chin recession, (under your lips), some people also call this jaw recession. The other one is maxillary recession, the maxilla is often refered to as the ”bone of beauty” as this bone basically determines how half of your face looks, and having it recessed is an terribly big flaw.

Then its probably recessed, and a lot of people might say ”thats actually the infraorbital rims that are recessed” well guess what, most of the time a recessed maxilla leads to recessed infraorbital rims, or might even make it look like they are recessed.

A prominent nose:

Yes, this could ofcourse also be genetics, a lot of people got big noses but a great maxilla, im very aware. Though a big thing you see on females is this, they are very insecure about their noses, when its their maxilla that is actually the problem, some might get a rhinoplasthy (nose surgery), and think they will look awesome, and they might look better, but that recessed maxilla will still be there, making them look a lot worse.

An important factor to be aware of:

Many people both have a recessed maxilla and a recessed chin/lower jaw, some ”only” have an recessed maxilla, such as robert pattinson. This is why overbites is a thing you need to be aware of, an overbite often makes your jaw look more protruding, while your maxilla sits flat and looks recessed.

How to know if your chin is recessed or not.

This is very easy to know if you ask me, look at yourself in the mirror, is your chin prominent or not, i got an example to make it easier for you.

And then the one to the right, she has a more forward grown chin, it looks much more attractive and will help you with your breathing, and much much more.

So tell me, which one looks the most attractive? This doesnt even need to be a question, even a monkey would say that the prominent jaw is more attractive, and this is just basic human biology.

Now i have told you how to know if youre recessed or not, now if you are recessed, you need to fix it. I will cover all the ways to fix facial recession, both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing, and if something isn’t proven, i will quote that it is not proven, and only a theory.

Mewing is based on the belief that proper tongue placement exerts gentle, continuous pressure on the upper jaw (maxilla), which can influence overall bone structure and facial form.

Here you want to be like the guy in the middle, he has good posture which signs to others that he has high confidence and that he is an overall nice guy.

”Now how do i fix my shitty posture?”

Easier than most people think, by a lot. I will split this up into two parts. One being exercises, and one being mindset.

Posture exercises:

My personal favorite posture exercise is chin tucks, while laying down on the edge of the bed.

Think of it like this, your head is at the edge of the bed and you just hop back another 10 centimeters so your head is resting on nothing.

Then you curl your head upwards and into your neck, make yourself get the biggest triple neck you have ever seen, and then go down again fully so you stretch fully.

Do this until failure before going to bed or in the morning.

Mindset:

Having a good mindset is not cope. Just have this in your mind all of the time: ”i need to have good posture”, with this in your mind, everytime you catch yourself slacking with ass posture, you can easily just shake it off and fix it easily.

And what are you really sacrificing with having good posture? Comfort? Do you really think any foids care about how comfortable you sit, stand or lay down? No they do not care at all, its your looks and only your looks that count.

Hard chewing works your masseter muscles, and there are theories about it growing your bones too through all the tension.

But is this proven?

As any other part of the body, the face has lots of muscles, which as any other part of the body, is trainable. We use our facial muscles every single second, every single tiny move that even our human eye can’t catch uses our facial muscles.

Now you might wonder what the masseter muscles are?

As we see here, the masseter muscle is very close to our mouth, and super close to our cheekbones.

And this means that we can fake our cheekbones, by getting bigger masseter muscles.

”But how do i get bigger masseter muscles?”

You work your masseter muscles by chewing, so thats exactly what we are going to do.

I recommend a very hard gum, such as falim or mastic gum. You want to chew this for 20-60 minutes per day, and not more. If you chew too much and too hard you can get TMJ, which you do not want.

hard chewing and orthodontics is probably the best things you can do, especially if your past puberty, hard chewing would give you ccw rotation and give facial growth, 2 birds one stone. but 60 minutes is awhile, if your sore the next day you did it far too long. 10-20 25 max

My personal favorite posture exercise is chin tucks, while laying down on the edge of the bed.

Think of it like this, your head is at the edge of the bed and you just hop back another 10 centimeters so your head is resting on nothing.

Then you curl your head upwards and into your neck, make yourself get the biggest triple neck you have ever seen, and then go down again fully so you stretch fully.

Do this until failure before going to bed or in the morning.

Mindset:

Having a good mindset is not cope. Just have this in your mind all of the time: ”i need to have good posture”, with this in your mind, everytime you catch yourself slacking with ass posture, you can easily just shake it off and fix it easily.

And what are you really sacrificing with having good posture? Comfort? Do you really think any foids care about how comfortable you sit, stand or lay down? No they do not care at all, its your looks and only your looks that count.

Hard chewing works your masseter muscles, and there are theories about it growing your bones too through all the tension.

But is this proven?

As any other part of the body, the face has lots of muscles, which as any other part of the body, is trainable. We use our facial muscles every single second, every single tiny move that even our human eye can’t catch uses our facial muscles.

Now you might wonder what the masseter muscles are?

As we see here, the masseter muscle is very close to our mouth, and super close to our cheekbones.

And this means that we can fake our cheekbones, by getting bigger masseter muscles.

”But how do i get bigger masseter muscles?”

You work your masseter muscles by chewing, so thats exactly what we are going to do.

I recommend a very hard gum, such as falim or mastic gum. You want to chew this for 20-60 minutes per day, and not more. If you chew too much and too hard you can get TMJ, which you do not want.

Now if you do not have access to either falim or mastic gum, normal gum works perfectly. Now what you want to do is to wet your normal gum every five minutes. This will make it harder and replicate a harder gum naturally.

Now does chewing grow bones?

I will make an example here.

When a beginner on the gym is very skinny, he has close to no muscles and the bones in his body arent that thick, as they dont need to carry much.

But when this guy has gone to the gym for two years and have gotten a lot of muscles, the bones had to adapt to the new weight and press on them, which made them thicker.

So by theory, the bones should grow thicker by doing this.

Bonesmashing is very controversial, and there are many theories about it, so i will only quote what is proven here.

The swelling effect:

This is the main part we are looking for, and this is the only part i know works for sure, when you hit your bones, preferably with your knuckles, they get swollen, now this is not a permanent effect, but its perfect for a night out with your friends, or anything similar to that.

Well how do i bonesmash correctly then?

A lot of reps, (repetitions), and not that much power in all of the hits. Now some ethnicel will probably say ”nooo you need to bonesmash hard so your bones grow it works for me bro it works bro trust me”, what we are after is the temporary swelling effect, which in my experience is easiest and safest achievable by doing a lot of repetitions and not that much power into all of the hits.

We are not looking to have bruises, this is also a good argument on why many reps and low power is better, in case you do not want to wear foundation on your cheekbones, then dont do it too hard.

Where do i bonesmash?

Dont bonesmash your maxilla, you gain nothing from it but worse skin quality and pain. The most popular places on your face to bonesmash though are these ones:

The zygomatics / the zygos, these are your upper cheekbones which are what makes some people have ”hollow cheeks”.

Another one is the browridge, pretty self explanatory, just from the edge of one eyebrow to the edge of another.

And the last is your chin, dont clench when you bonesmash your chin, can cause harm to your teeth and descend you.

In this part, surgical / unnatural ways to get better forward growth will be discussed.

But there are VERY important factors you might miss out on if youre too focused on just your genetics.

Here we see an comparison drawing of two middle aged - young girls. The one on the left is a nose breather, so she basically breathes through her nose all of the time, even at night.

In the drawing to the right we see a mouthbreather, so instead of breathing with her nose she constantly breathes like a dog.

And whats the consequenses of these two types of breathing techniques? For nasal breathing you get more attractive, your body works better etc. And for mouth breathing you will get less attractive, and you will probably get several health problems, such as not getting enough air into your pathaways.

A very important factor: genetics, around 75% of your face is determined by your genetics, shown by various studies on twins. But you can still try to fix these flaws that your genetics cursed you with, both with softmaxxing and hardmaxxing.

How do i know if im recessed or not?

There are two main types of recessions people have. One is chin recession, (under your lips), some people also call this jaw recession. The other one is maxillary recession, the maxilla is often refered to as the ”bone of beauty” as this bone basically determines how half of your face looks, and having it recessed is an terribly big flaw.

A prominent nose:

Yes, this could ofcourse also be genetics, a lot of people got big noses but a great maxilla, im very aware. Though a big thing you see on females is this, they are very insecure about their noses, when its their maxilla that is actually the problem, some might get a rhinoplasthy (nose surgery), and think they will look awesome, and they might look better, but that recessed maxilla will still be there, making them look a lot worse.

An important factor to be aware of:

Many people both have a recessed maxilla and a recessed chin/lower jaw, some ”only” have an recessed maxilla, such as robert pattinson. This is why overbites is a thing you need to be aware of, an overbite often makes your jaw look more protruding, while your maxilla sits flat and looks recessed.

This is very easy to know if you ask me, look at yourself in the mirror, is your chin prominent or not, i got an example to make it easier for you.

And then the one to the right, she has a more forward grown chin, it looks much more attractive and will help you with your breathing, and much much more.

So tell me, which one looks the most attractive? This doesnt even need to be a question, even a monkey would say that the prominent jaw is more attractive, and this is just basic human biology.

Now i have told you how to know if youre recessed or not, now if you are recessed, you need to fix it. I will cover all the ways to fix facial recession, both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing, and if something isn’t proven, i will quote that it is not proven, and only a theory.

How to know if your chin is recessed or not.

This is very easy to know if you ask me, look at yourself in the mirror, is your chin prominent or not, i got an example to make it easier for you.

The one to the left has a very noticeable recessed chin, she has very obviously mouth breathed a lot in her youth, which has led to this horrendous looking chin.

And then the one to the right, she has a more forward grown chin, it looks much more attractive and will help you with your breathing, and much much more.

So tell me, which one looks the most attractive? This doesnt even need to be a question, even a monkey would say that the prominent jaw is more attractive, and this is just basic human biology.

Now i have told you how to know if youre recessed or not, now if you are recessed, you need to fix it. I will cover all the ways to fix facial recession, both by softmaxxing and hardmaxxing, and if something isn’t proven, i will quote that it is not proven, and only a theory.

Softmaxxing includes natural ways to improve, so all that will be quoted in this part.

Spoiler: Mewing

Mewing is very much basic knowledge, almost everyone under the age of 18 knows what mewing is, but doesn’t take mewing seriously, this is the first mistake a lot of people do.

”Well how do i mew correctly?” A lot of people might ask.

And its very simple, i will show you an image to make it even easier to understand.

Basically mewing is just pushing your tounge to the roof of your mouth, as this is the natural tounge position which will help your pallate get wider, and make you get more forward growth.

Now do this at all times, everytime you arent speaking, mew, it might feel unnatural at first, but trust me it works if you are consistent enough.

”Well how does this make you look better?”

Mewing is based on the belief that proper tongue placement exerts gentle, continuous pressure on the upper jaw (maxilla), which can influence overall bone structure and facial form.

So basically this will make your pallate wider, and make your face look overall better.

Spoiler: Posture

Before we talked about tounge posture, now we will talk about overall body posture.

”Well how does this affect my forward growth?”

It doesn’t.

Instead it gives you the illusion of having better forward growth, i have an example right here in form of a picture.

This guy looks pretty geeked in both pictures, but he still looks much better when he has better posture.

Here you want to be like the guy in the middle, he has good posture which signs to others that he has high confidence and that he is an overall nice guy.

”Now how do i fix my shitty posture?”

Easier than most people think, by a lot. I will split this up into two parts. One being exercises, and one being mindset.

Posture exercises:

My personal favorite posture exercise is chin tucks, while laying down on the edge of the bed.

Think of it like this, your head is at the edge of the bed and you just hop back another 10 centimeters so your head is resting on nothing.

Then you curl your head upwards and into your neck, make yourself get the biggest triple neck you have ever seen, and then go down again fully so you stretch fully.

Do this until failure before going to bed or in the morning.

Mindset:

Having a good mindset is not cope. Just have this in your mind all of the time: ”i need to have good posture”, with this in your mind, everytime you catch yourself slacking with ass posture, you can easily just shake it off and fix it easily.

And what are you really sacrificing with having good posture? Comfort? Do you really think any foids care about how comfortable you sit, stand or lay down? No they do not care at all, its your looks and only your looks that count.

Spoiler: Hard chewing

Hard chewing works your masseter muscles, and there are theories about it growing your bones too through all the tension.

But is this proven?

As any other part of the body, the face has lots of muscles, which as any other part of the body, is trainable. We use our facial muscles every single second, every single tiny move that even our human eye can’t catch uses our facial muscles.

Now you might wonder what the masseter muscles are?

As we see here, the masseter muscle is very close to our mouth, and super close to our cheekbones.

And this means that we can fake our cheekbones, by getting bigger masseter muscles.

”But how do i get bigger masseter muscles?”

You work your masseter muscles by chewing, so thats exactly what we are going to do.

I recommend a very hard gum, such as falim or mastic gum. You want to chew this for 20-60 minutes per day, and not more. If you chew too much and too hard you can get TMJ, which you do not want.

Now if you do not have access to either falim or mastic gum, normal gum works perfectly. Now what you want to do is to wet your normal gum every five minutes. This will make it harder and replicate a harder gum naturally.

Now does chewing grow bones?

I will make an example here.

When a beginner on the gym is very skinny, he has close to no muscles and the bones in his body arent that thick, as they dont need to carry much.

But when this guy has gone to the gym for two years and have gotten a lot of muscles, the bones had to adapt to the new weight and press on them, which made them thicker.

So by theory, the bones should grow thicker by doing this.

Spoiler: Bonesmashing

Bonesmashing is very controversial, and there are many theories about it, so i will only quote what is proven here.

The swelling effect:

This is the main part we are looking for, and this is the only part i know works for sure, when you hit your bones, preferably with your knuckles, they get swollen, now this is not a permanent effect, but its perfect for a night out with your friends, or anything similar to that.

Well how do i bonesmash correctly then?

A lot of reps, (repetitions), and not that much power in all of the hits. Now some ethnicel will probably say ”nooo you need to bonesmash hard so your bones grow it works for me bro it works bro trust me”, what we are after is the temporary swelling effect, which in my experience is easiest and safest achievable by doing a lot of repetitions and not that much power into all of the hits.

We are not looking to have bruises, this is also a good argument on why many reps and low power is better, in case you do not want to wear foundation on your cheekbones, then dont do it too hard.

Where do i bonesmash?

Dont bonesmash your maxilla, you gain nothing from it but worse skin quality and pain. The most popular places on your face to bonesmash though are these ones:

The zygomatics / the zygos, these are your upper cheekbones which are what makes some people have ”hollow cheeks”.

Another one is the browridge, pretty self explanatory, just from the edge of one eyebrow to the edge of another.

And the last is your chin, dont clench when you bonesmash your chin, can cause harm to your teeth and descend you.

In this part, surgical / unnatural ways to get better forward growth will be discussed.

Lefort 1 - Osteotomy

In this surgery, the maxilla is pulled away from the rest of the skull and postioned back again but more forward.

The risk of this procedure is very low, and very rewarding. I definetly recommend this to you if you have a recessed maxilla.

This is for the mandible.
The ramus is split and the body advanced forward to correct your receded jaw, improving the lower third and bite.

Double jaw surgery (djj/bimax)

Combines Lefort 1 + BSSO for correction of both jaws, often with counterclockwise rotation (ccw rotation) to maximize forward projection and facial harmony.

Genioplasty (chin surgery)
Sliding genioplasty cuts and advances the chin bone forward, or just adjusts it. Can be done alone or with bimax.
It upgrades chin projection without moving the entire mandible

Orthodontics is basically things happening in your mouth, such as braces etc.

MSE + Facemask

This is the most popular orthodontic treatment that works for forward growth.

While it might look retarded, it actually pulls your maxilla forward slowly, note that it isnt a quick treatment, but its worth it in the end.

Just make sure that your doctor gives you the right size etc, cause if she fucks up, its your life that goes down the drain.

Unfortuanely its mostly dento alveolar effects rather than true craniofacial repositioning according to multiple studies.

BAMP

Bamp is just generally superior, as it anchors directly to bone and produces more skeletal changes rather than just dental compensation.

Implants are a great way to ascend quickly, its cheap and effective, how much better can it get?

I will quote some different implants you can get and you choose for yourself which one seems the most fitting.

Custom or standard implants

Silicone, Medpor or PEEK implants are the alternatives and the ones you can choose from.

You can place these on your maxilla, or jaw, or wherever you want pretty much.

It can easily mimic natural forward growth if thats what you are looking for.

Personally i would very much recommend PEEK implants, these might be the most expensive, but its for an reason, dont go the cheap way and get botched.

Paranasal Implants

L-shaped paranasal implants are effective if the maxilla is flat rather than truly recessed.

It adds nice projection to the nasal base, it can look like you got a rhinoplasty, which is a big yes.

Expectations: 5-6mm projection max, and it does NOT replicate lefort’s level.

Onlay grafts or fat grafting

You take fat from one place of your body, and you put it in the desired area.

Many of the times you take unwanted fat, such as stomach fat and put in where you might be recessed, such as in your infraorbitals or maxilla.

Fillers

Fillers are an very broad category, as you can inject fillers pretty much wherever you want.

In this picture we can clearly see that she has gotten chin fillers, which look magnificent.

Diy fillers

Personally i would have just gotten them fixed at my nearest clinic, but for brokies or for people saving money this is a very good alternative to it.

If you wish to do Diy fillers, i suggest you to make a lot of research, so that you dont end up looking worse than before.

This is also a very broad category, but i will try to include everything i can.

Human Growth Hormone / HGH

Prescribed for deficiency in children to support overall and facial growth.
It influences periosteal apposition, condylar cartilage, and mandibular length (especially ramus), potentially improving facial profile in growing patients.

This does not work if your growth plates are closed. Sorry all uncs.

Some of the risks are:

Fluid retention, muscle pain, insulin resistance or diabetes, organ enlargement, higher cancer or cardiovascular risk.

But has also shown a significant increase of bone mineral density, which means that you basically grow bones from it.
