palate expander can wider the midface during puberty due to open sutures. braces r shit. get damon braces, but that won’t fix ur maxilla. neither will grow ur maxilla forward. a face mask can help somewhat. don’t get a palate expander unless ur narrow it’s a looksmin ur ipd will forever be fucked

Yeah I agree with this what about wearing g headgear at home or whilst you sleep it pulls the maxilla foward instead of expanding it. It connects to a notch basically on ur pallet or right behind the front teeth and you adjust it with a key and it slowly pulls it foward only works if the sutures are still open/ moving so if they have gone through osteogenesis then not much you can do
