Examples below

I keep seeing people talk about forward growth like it’s the most important thing for facial aesthetics

Forward growth = face grows outward (better projection stronger jaw better side profile)

Downward growth = face grows more vertically (longer face weaker chin/jaw look)

Looking at these examples it seems like forward growth changes everything especially the side profile and how “developed” someone looks

But I’m not sure if it’s the main factor or just one of many (like body fat posture etc)

What do you guys think?

Is forward growth the #1 factor?

Can bad growth be improved or is it
mostly genetic?

How much does posture / tongue position actually matter?

Thanks for reading this I’m really tryna learn more about Craniofacial development and not be such a unknowing greycel
