im 16 i will go to a ortho like november and i dont think headgear can work on me anymoreCrowded teeth is more attributed to lack of palatal width not forward growth. As for your question the answer is yes it's possible depending on your age and whether you qualify for orthodontics. If you have a visibly recessed jaw/midface a orthodontist may find a plan for you involving a palate expander, retainers, or maybe forward pulling headgear (mark as solution)
If you're 16 then yes headgear may not work but fixing your pallate is definelty viable/fixing teeth crowding. Surgery is also an option for forward facial recession.im 16 i will go to a ortho like november and i dont think headgear can work on me anymore

It depends on what is causing the issue. If you have an excessively vertical maxilla it could result in such or it could be due to hyperactive lip muscles/short upper lip.do u know if its possible to fix gummy smile with ortho (by skeletally)
