i want to get a marpe but idk if my palate needs expanding or not bc ik marpe can give you more forward growth but also idk how long it will take for my teeth to get realigned after my skull splits i want to get all of that done during the summer so i can be ready for the next school year but it all depends on how long the treatment takes.

yes it does in most cases it can produce some forward movement in the maxilla bro about 2-3mm and it's still overall good for you because it brings your upper jaw more outwards

Just go to an ortho and ask, they will tell you if its needed

Yeah, I thought it was cope but I've been making sure to mew while I sleep and throughout the day, and I've also heard that chewing meat and hard chewy things support forward growth but do u think that's cope or does it actually work?

Hard chewing will mainly only grow masseters.
