Where did you get that idea? She never said that
To be honest she is the most broad-minded orthodontist I have ever seen. She even posted before and afters of one of her patients who used a ''homemade facepuller device''. Other orthodontists would have raged at him if he told any of them he was using a homemade face puller.
In any point before I get lefort, a some sort of bone anchored protraction device comes that will give results in adults also I will definetely go to her to get treatment

Where's the great result? It's so subtle, it's barely there. MSE isn't an aesthetically focused appliance

Yeah the rhino looks a bit off. I think he also got a chin implant? No idea why, he has a witchy chin now. He also needs a Le Fort

I think he needs lefort too, but at least he looks more normal now(more symmetrical). Also maybe a little more expansion since his lower teeth are still overlapping the upper ones slightly

I think MSE just isn't a viable option for looksmaxxing and will remain so until substantial progress in protraction protocols is made.

unfortunately... I don't think it can even be considered bone borne for protracting since even if someone attempts to do that they are only pulling from the molar bands anyways. I highly doubt that the force gets transfered from molar bands onto the device anchorage and from there, onto the screws on palate... No it probably just applies all the force onto molars and onto other teeth as well, resulting in only dental movement or dentoalveolar remodelling. If only there was a way to apply the force directly onto the device itself... At least we would know if protraction for adults could ever work
I still think MSE is a much better alternative to SARPE though. Why get your palate surgically expanded when you can just get MSE. Plus its cheaper

Even though MSE may not change your bone structure dramatically, the potential for correcting a fucked up smile still makes it worth considering.
