Found two illegal grey market superbikes

2010 Yamaha R1 and Kawasaki Ninja H2. Both completely illegal. Parts were imported and the bike was assembled locally and is being sold with fake documents. Both bikes are dirt cheap

To those that don't known what greymarket bikes are. In some countries due to emission norms and taxes the costs of certain 1000cc bikes gets too high and expensive so what some people do is buy old bikes in countries where they are available for cheap and then dismantle everything, ship it...

You have to be sure that it was assembled well. People here import disassembled cars sometimes but they are basically coffins on wheels and fall apart at any significant impact.

for daily life, if you actually want to ride your bike regularly, you will almost never need anything more

i have a 400cc kawasaki and always get comments from people who don’t even ride motorcycles asking me why i don’t get something more powerful
but this is perfect for commuting
