Four Premolar Extraction (Class II Malocclusion)

Got 4 premolars taken out with the local anesthesia… after 2 months, feeling a noticeable change in breathing. —And it’s not a positive change either. Rather, whenever I breathe out, I feel a more suffocating shortness of breath compared to when I still had messed-up-protruding-crooked-teeth. Lowk wanna ask my black Orthopedic doctor if I can get any type of expansion. This is definitely not how I want to live my life; suffocating under a recessed palate due to extractions.

Why did you get your teeth pulled out exactly? I would personally never agree to extractions if it wasn't absolutely necessary.

I got 2 of my upper premolars extracted like half a year ago and I've noticed zero breathing changes whatsoever. I had to do it for upper jaw surgery decomp though.

My African American doc told me it was for aesthetics and now I’m sitting here coping in silence with a 6 teeth smile.

—PS what really happened was that he wanted to take those 4 premolars out which makes room for “enhanced air way quality” and a “great bright smile” RIP.
