I agree with that, but ultimately, it depends on OP's goals.
IQ is by far the best predictor of income, so if OP is aiming for top-tier jobs, yes it will be very difficult, if not impossible to get there.
Hard work alone can't make up for a lack of cognitive ability, especially if competitors are putting in the same effort- which seems likely in these areas .

However, OP can definitely achieve a comfortable standard of living in line with his IQ, and with the right personality traits and work ethic, even surpass that.

Difference is being 6’1 is generally sufficient to be impressively or at least sufficiently tall. Being 114 is generally not sufficient to be impressively or sufficiently smart. Most people around that area are retarded (though frost seems smarter than the average midwif).
