Fragrances do make you more attractive, confident and approachable

TLDR:
Pheromones + perfume shows genetic quality. Good smells instantly makes you more attractive. Fresh scents are global symbol of health while woody, spicy, musky perfume notes signalling confidence, masculinity etc depend on the conditioning of your brain to associate those scents with those qualities or emotions which varies from one culture to another.

This is very legit, in high school I had a big booty brunette who seemed kinda into me and I owe it to my perfume. She specifically asked me what perfume I was wearing. I never told her the truth because I was kind of a real life troll back then. I just said, "It's my natural scent." However, while I acknowledge that a good fragrance makes you more attractive, what about scientists saying pheromones are heavily involved in attraction? And by phermones, I am pretty sure they mean body odor or something like that but isn't that going to be associated with bad smells? It seems science is contradicting itself here or am I missing something?
