France I think would win this year. They look unstoppable. France vs Morocco didn't even look like a quarter final. France played it like it was friendly. Very casually and effortlessly won the match. In all their matches so far they were no where close to losing. We haven't even seen France at 100% yet they are destroying teams like it's Sunday league match. Only 2 goals conceded and utter dominance. rock solid defensive line, lethal attack. Great manager. Mbappe and Olise train. The only area they are maybe slightly lacking is the defensive midfield but still an unreal. This team looks dangerous. They are also fun to watch. If they win the world cup it will be 100% deserved. Maybe even give them the second golden generation tag.

There can be surprises anyway, as long as we are talking about England, Argentina, Norway or Spain against France, anyone can draw the match, either 0-0 with perfect defense, or 1-1 or 2-2, and on penalties anything can happen, or even a 1-0 or 2-1 victory

I would not bet everything on France yet, football in general is a casino roulette. A corner / a penalty / an unfortunate defender deflection, etc. can change the fate of the entire match, no matter how well a team played

But yeah, France has the best theoretical chances now, they look like the best team by far..
