Fraud lefort

I'm currently doing a dental treatment (had pallatal expander went from 34mm to about 42mm, braces now, perfect u shaped upper pallet atm), but I have misaligned jaws (horizontally) and open bite, is there anyway to fraud my way to get a lefort? I dont have recessed but also I dont have forward projection jaws. My dentist told me if I want I can get a surgery to fix cranial misalignment or whatever but my parents said it's not necessary and said that I don't need any surgery just braces. I really don't know how to go about this. I also have breathing issues but my parents also said that I shouldn't get surgery for that either...
