Yeah screwing over the delivery driver who is likely very poor and desperate too is just a dick move. They get paid very little and most of them can't get a better job or be lucky enough to leech off family or the govt.

Especially messed up if they used their own car and gas to deliver the order and don't get to use a company car and gas paid for by them (which AFAIK most doordash driver's don't get and need to use their own). I wouldn't wanna do a job like that because of the idiots you'd encounter like OP is, and the fact that it pays so little it's not much profit once you account for gasoline and wear costs on your vehicle. Mine gets 12 miles per gallon city, so even a short 5 mile trip will cost over a buck in gas plus wear costs on the vehicle
