Doesn't matter at all if it's an illusion or not. U have an awarness of your pleasure and pain and will always regret making bad decisions and not living ur life to the fullest no matter how much u cope that free will doesn't exist.

I think if we accept this model of reality everything becomes more bearable
and you can have a more growth oriented mindset instead of emotionally reactive and unintentionally sabotaging yourself
