Free will never existed. All was/is/will be determined by the affecting human’s neuroscience and how the environment shaped them throughout development their entire life up to that moment to react within a specific 1 answer decisive action we call a “choice” which makes no sense logically, considering you were going to make that specific one anyways. Everything we do is done regardless of what we believed our “influence” on it was, in reality we just observe our life happen no matter what we think we can change.

Somewhat true, all the major events in your life are going to happen no matter what you do. The minor details or trajectory is what may change but they will still happen. In that case I guess you should try because favourable trajectory leading up to events is still preferable over not.
