I've seen they get into a lot of hermetic and luciferian shit at the higher degrees and do rituals that are meant to appease demons and shit and at the top it is a religion based on that replacing whatever religion they went into it with
I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure a lot of their "secrets" are just random alternative kabbalah and luciferian stories about creation and humanity which they do genuinely believe but imo is a bit nonsensical
A big part of these secret societies though is they get members to do shit in rituals that they can then blackmail them with e.g. married guys being with hookers and strippers, people being photographed with someone underaged at a party that sort of thing and I think that's how they actually have a lot of sway behind the scenes rather than some sort of magic rituals or whatever
