I just turned 16 and my dentist recommended a frenectomy and a surgeon. I’m js wondering is it still worth it to get one at my age or nah

How about oral sexI did at 18 so I’ll give you my 2 cents. I did it purely because I had a short tongue and I was concerned about how it would affect my kissing skill. The surgery cost 400-800 dollars. It made my tongue a few millimeters longer and gave me better oral posture. The recovery was rough. Significantly more painful than wisdom teeth removal. Also you should do some tongue stretches to prevent reattachment. In the end I don’t regret it at all and am so glad I did it. Compare my situation to yours and do your research. Getting under the knife is risky so be sure you are willing to take the risk (they are quite low however).
I have more range of motion; It improved oral sex. Another reason why I did it lol.How about oral sex
