Friend of acquaintance (Chadlite) prefers to use Telegram/Discord to talk for dating, but gets ghosted/blocked almost immediately. What's his problem?

Was talking to an acquaintance (MTN manlet) for a bit tonight and he says that his friend prefers to talk to girls using Telegram or Discord as opposed to IG DMs, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, and even WhatsApp.

Said friend of the acquaintance is a solid maesthetic/masc Chadlite with body halo, but has a relatively low body count (below 5) for his age and looks, and is looking for a girlfriend since he's on the upper end of his 20s (26). He has also had long single spells because he's afraid of falling in love for a woman that may not care about him.

But every woman either blocks the Chadlite (if they meet online) or wants to talk on IG instead, said the acquaintance. The chadlite also doesn't use dating apps because of "overwhelm".

im socially awkward, and when i cant carry a conversation or dont know what to say the girl im talking to tends just to be patient with me and carry the conversation instead. i would say maybe he's odd. though i cant know for sure
