the only reason people care is because
A: They want to be part of some greater culture / grouping, since other people look like them they side with their race (i dont really agree w/ this)
B: They'd rather procreate within their race since their future children will look more like them (i'd say this is fair)

for normal people i do think same race relationship is important, some people are meant to be workers so that mindset is fine for them and tends to be beneficial

but if you have goals or just do not integrate well into society, these views only harm you
