genuinely wanna rope everytime i take a picture of myself with my back camera

Lens distortion ur front camera is much closer to ur face and of lower quality
Compard to ur back camera which note only has higher quality but uses 50mm camera causing less lens distortion

because the back camera is more distorted and flipped while the front camera softens ur features and like widens the frame so ur fwhr looks better, but dw mirror is most accurate anyway

look at yourself on a small mirror, its pretty acurate to what you look like to other people. cameras distort your face

It’s because you’re so used to it, and it’s a huge shock when you see your face flipped. Also, the way you pose your face is most likely better optimized for the inverted camera, so you can try to practice angling your face with the inverted filter until you get used to it.

80% of people have either jaw or eye height (or both) asymmetry you will just notice it a lot more in yourself.

try zooming in on anyones face and youll see asymmetry but you just notice it on your face quicker because you are hypercritical of yourself most likely.

I feel the same way. I don’t even want to be in photos taken with the back camera, but in the mirror and on the front camera I actually look really good.
