No, why? I don't need to know someones religion to make a point, i make the point whenever i want.

If anything, i'm the one willing to say proudly "I believe in this, that, and that", not the one who hides his intentions and beliefs. If i want to know the stance of the person, is because we are going to argue or arguing, then it is completely necessary to every philosopher, professor, etc, that's all.

If someone comes attacking my religion, then i want to know his stance and make him realize if he is consistent or inconsistent, otherwise, the purpose of arguing which is to learn and improve becomes completely meaningless.
