Asian, but I feel like I'm also getting this itch because I only do shampoo about 2x a week cause shampoo makes my hair dry asf and I'm going to the gym 6x a week so it might be because of sweat

U think it's possible that this is cowlick? and the itching is just scalp being irritated

This is balding, crown too thin for it to just be a cowlick, I've seen plenty of Asians with this balding pattern. It starts on the crown first.

Do oral minoxidil, oral is way more potent than topical and works for everyone. I suggest u try 5mg and if u feel good taking that continue to do so. If u feel any discomfort reduce it to 2.5mg of oral minoxidil
