Many people I know want multiple remote jobs to moneymaxx yet they say it's very difficult to find remote work because employers want people in office. Now they're threatening to leave/not apply for jobs if the job doesn't allow you to work from home, because they want to be overemployed in a bad economy.

I only know of one guy who is doing just this; no LinkedIn and is very quiet about what he does, but he's working about 3 jobs at home (but 1 is hybrid, he gives his NEET grad brother the other duties if he has to go to work in the office for that job).

They only seem to be giving remote work privileges to mothers no matter how shit they are in terms of experience.

ANY EMPLOYER OR BOSS OF COMPANIES THAT IS READING THIS, DELETE YOURSELF BECAUSE WE WANT REMOTE WORK.

Trust me, many people I know are threatening bosses to quit/not apply for jobs if student/NEET if they don't let them work remotely at least 3 times a week. The ones in tech especially want overemployment.

U need skills and experience incel

Sensible thing to do

There's no reason for not being able to work remotely in 2023. It's a deal breaker

I'm not kidding, most people I know are becoming increasingly anti-work because they want remote work and over-employment. It's a sensible thing to do in a shit economy.

I know a guy through the girl I'm in marriage talks with (he's an acquaintance of her) exclusively looking for remote work (maths NEET grad with bootcamps) so he can be over-employed. He's been NEET for 2 years. Master's grad.

Brutal how for some ppl job Is like something they have control over. I talked to a girl on tinder that told me She turned down an offer from EY because She wanted a Better position. Meanwhile i've been rejected even by small companies and even for shitty Jobs for which i'm overqualified

Good on her, worker's rights and the experience/qualifications they have, need to be respected and taken into consideration. Especially for young people.
Working for a big company like EY doesn't mean anything. Who are they and why should we overwork for them for a tiny little salary?

Know a few people like that. I'm not sure if this is a sign that God wants us to do something else nicer inshallah.

She unfortunately cannot do remote work because of her industry but doesn't mind because she likes her job.

seems like those ppl are ungrateful. i have the qualifications to enter into a junior position in consultancy yet no one hired me and i'm experiencing NEETdom. if someone gave me a chance i wouldn't mind about the working conditions, everything is better than being unemployed. Those ppl will be back like loyal dogs once they realize without the company they don't exist

I totally get how you feel. I guess these people I know about are overqualified, some have had work before and don't see the point in working for a measly £28000 a year if they have PhDs and some experience before.

@forevergymcelling I remember you posting about "shitty graduate analyst job for £27000" before JFL

the point is that even them will be unemployed. there are always fresh grads that will accept the current conditions. and turnover in those companies has always been naturally high, they dgaf.

I couldn't be asked to commute to work today so I just send an email and say "Working from home today". If they fire me they fire me.

I like my current boss, he allows me to get away with doing nothing at work and browsing .org all day. My previous boss however was an asshole when I worked at a warehouse. Didn't even allow me to take any breaks other than lunch break.

scumbags. im going to take matters into my own hands and online businessmaxx

i've got caught in a lay-off last month, more than 25 days sending resumes and still no responde fuck, if only my country wasn't a dangerous shithole, i would've been working with uber long ago.

My employers have started asking for office 2x a week but even that feels

I'll happily work more since I save 2+ hours a day commuting. As someone who has worked 95-ish percent from home since COVID I sometimes spend more time messing around and being unproductive in the office than at home.

I can understand why in some roles and specialities it can and should be encouraged but in others (especially) mine 95% of the time it makes no sense. The 5% of times it does - it only does because my colleagues don't respond to queries as fast to emails/teams chat than we would in office. That's it.
