I saw a podcast with Leo, Bostin and tony huge and tony talked about how doing business in Thailand involved buying protection from the Thai and Chinese mafia to stay in business and to eliminate competing businesses. It's possible it's related to that since they were selling drugs there I am pretty sure, and they were operating their research them supply there also.
