I dont mind accepting that a 100% raw carnivore diet is ideal, but to say humans are adapted for it when that diet would have been near impossible for our ancestors to maintain (not every hunt would be succesful and no fridges to store meat of succesful hunts would mean they would have to hunt almost daily which is unsustainable) not to mention the fact that our closest relatives, chimps, are also omnivorous leaning towards herbivorous in nature

1. 100% carnivore is ideal for humans as that’s all we ate for millions of years with the rare occasions of fiber tubers when the hunt was unsuccessful. The fruits and vegetables that exist today didn’t exist way back then. They are artificially man made to contain more sugar.

2. The unsuccessful hunters still faced the consequences of consuming exogenous carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are not required to be eaten. Gluconeogenesis alone proves that our ancestors survived off of animal products only.

3. Eating a mixed macro diet will enable the activation of the Randle Cycle (defense mechanism) which locks out either fats or carbohydrates and enters the blood stream.
