I failed English GCSE now I need to resit

Reminder the average European are more familiar with your literature + it has a lot to do with the language itself as to you need a high familiarity with the language to understand poems etc and actually remember them that way.

I was in the topset I failed by one grade 90% of people did bad in all their tests because of lockdowns interfering with school time

WE DIDNT HAVE TESTS TO FUCKINGN STUDY FOR

We came back to school did like a month of work and then they gave us assessments on the topics we did
 
I failed English lit and English language.

I didn't try in either of them. I got a 6 in English language when I resat it in November tho.

I can help if u want but it's really easy just as long as you actually do the work.

I failed English language cuz I think I only answered 2 of the questions cuz I was too tired

And I failed English lit cuz I never read Macbeth or any of the poems nor memorised them.

It’s an overall grade which means the tests you do lessons and real tests you do add up to the final grade because I missed out on two papers

I got an Ungraded Score which is an equivalent to 0 this brought down my overall grade by a lot I got 6s for the other 3 tests.
