For some reason I've got the side profile of a sub5, even though my front looks good imo. My ramus is not visible at all, and I'm guessing this is happening because of my recessed chin and very poor neck posture due to my height. Also, I think lowering my BF% would help, but I don't really know what to do.

I'm hoping someone can tell me the reason(probably multiple reasons) for my side to look so bad and maybe how to fix it besides surgery, if it isn't too late already. 16yo and late bloomer

It’s a combo of recessed chin, forward head posture, and a bit of fat under the jaw making the side profile look worse. Work on posture, lower BF%, and focus on habits like proper tongue posture, not for bone changes, but to support overall facial tone. You're still young, so small changes can go a long way.

Surgery is only going to be viable for non-minors with fused sutures.

Hardmaxx will always be most effective though try natural remedies to see if you can become happy with the aesthetic yourself

Get braces, something wrong with overall bite

Do you have poorly-aligned teeth? If so, braces or Invisalign may go a long way. Dental treatment can be cheaper and less invasive than surgery.

I’d say to fix your posture, try out facial exercises (chewing gum on both sides is something easy and discreet), make sure to sleep on your back, use mouth tape if you breathe through your mouth in your sleep, and consult a dentist.

If all else fails, look into double jaw surgery.
