I swear I'm going fucking insane. This might not seem like much but I've seen so much of this kind of stuff recently, I feel like I need to talk about it
A video popped up on my TikTok feed, a "corecore" vid about how "beauty standards make everyone self-conscious and feel bad about themselves!!"
I fucking hate virtue signalling so much. The person who made this video and everyone who liked it KNOW that they like and only care for very attractive people. It's just fake support for "less attractive people", but at this point not even that, because so many of the clips they fucking used of people being "self-conscious" were people who are generally considered attractive or at least wouldn't have ANY problems with finding partners. They literally cannot even fathom having a video with only uglies.
And of the less-attractive ones featured, all the "Everyone is beautiful! Don't be self-conscious!" people in the comments KNOW that they would not even CONSIDER dating them. Like for example that guy in the vid who says he has no compliments for himself, even wearing a mask to probably hide his face. I saw so many people saying how sad it was, yet I know for a fact none of them would ever, EVER want to date him or sleep with him. Just from that one video.
Essentially:
"You look so great naturally, don't be self conscious! I wouldn't date you or want to even think about fucking you but you look great and should love yourself!"
It's just fucking laughable at this point. In a hugely sad way. I feel very bad for that guy with the mask on. Because now he'll see all this fake support from TikTok and think he has a chance, and then the real world will just drag him right back down again.
People aren't self-conscious for no fucking reason. People/society let (usually less attractive men) know that they are ugly or "creepy-looking". In so many ways.
But seriously, I mean they literally fucking use a scene from Euphoria of Sydney Sweeney, SYDNEY FUCKING SWEENEY, to represent being self-conscious. Margot Robbie is in there too.
And that guy at the gym who says he "tries not to break down every time he looks in a mirror" while having a decent face with a great jaw. THESE are the people everyone cares about, THESE are the people who need support in regards to their looks and confidence, not you of course, silly incel.
Clown world.
The comments too man. Seeing extremely attractive people who even thirst trap on their page being like "omg this is so real". Literally ragefuel.
They do it all the time too. I see so many videos of people like that saying how much they hate themselves n all that bullshit and getting so many likes and supportive comments. JFL. Like people absolutely FLOOD the comments with praise. Imagine if it was an incel-tier guy doing that.
"Stupid fucking incel! Just suck it up and be fucking confident! Your looks don't mean anything!"
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
