LDL = 122

Despite decent diet and lean weight family history of heart disease and high cholesterol fucks me in the ass. Probably going to order statins online now I doubt my doc would prescribe them

Statins literally don't do anything. Cholesterol is good for you

Bro at 122 you're perfectly fine when it comes to LDL levels and you should think twice before wanting to lower them.

As you can see, the hazard ratio at 122 is virtually 1.0, so no risk. Even if your LDL levels went up to something like 180, the hazard ratio would still be 1.0, so again, there would be no risk.
Even at noticeably higher levels such as 240, you'd only get a hazard ratio of 1.1 which is still seemingly minor.

And if you look at the dashed lines/confidence interval, once your LDL goes past your current levels, the lower confidence interval dips below 1.0 which means that it's protective.

Whereas if you'd lower your LDL levels to let's say 70, you will be at a significantly higher risk, quickly approaching 1.5, also highlighted by both the higher and lower confidence intervals as they are both above 1.0.

Man heart disease risk is quite confusing, probably don’t need statins you’re right in over exaggerating, but I need to be eating more fruits and doing cardio imo.
