fucking opposite of a monopoly in Istanbul

I went to a famous alley in Istanbul. There are stands on either side of me. Think like fucking 20 on each side. They are all loaded baked potato shops (kumpir). Everything about them is the exact fucking same. Same toppings same fucking supplier even prob. Even the way the toppings are arranged for each one is the same. So people have to get creative to make theirs stand out.


Mfs were literally yelling at me to come over to their stand. I saw people speaking Russian and other languages to attract tourists. Saw a lady in bra and yoga pants pressed up against the glass yelling, hoping some she will attract some horn ball . Saw people hanging Palestine flags and free Palestine signs to win people over. It was like they were getting creative with everything but the fucking thing they were trying to sell.

Guess that’s the point tho?
