Here are the images I forgot to add. Apologies for the tagging.
@registerfasterusing @FlotPSL @Justakid @CorinthianLOX @turneywest

No I would not marry a Slovakian Justakid. I do not want anything to do with traitors and I do not trust them.

Why doesn't it say Europe than
Of all the places. It had that word, Anatollia. It is only a mere 0.4 percent. Last time it was nothing. I will take a proper Blood DNA test in a few months. One side of my family did have Macedonian Ancestors yet those were distant cousins.

Last time It said it was 100 percent and now only 0.4 is missing. I am betting it is confusing the cuman ancestry with the Turkic steppe ancestry of the Turkish or something. I do not know.

I will do it the next day. I will make a thread about it. What is different with that website?
It gives you deeper results, also for historical populations

You can check out mine, there’s more stuff too that I didn’t post like seeing your distance to various historical figures

As I am too. It is only 0.4 percent. Could have been some distant Bosniac who got mixed with someone at some point.
Hold on, the machine has spoken.

((((About the 0.4% “Anatolian / Middle Eastern”

This tiny trace amount is extremely common for people from the Balkans, Hungary, and surrounding areas.
Why? 🌍 Historical context Modern populations in Hungary, the Balkans, and Central Europe have had thousands of years of contact with:

  • Turks (Ottoman Empire)
  • Ancient Greeks
  • Caucasus-adjacent populations
  • Neolithic farmers originally from Anatolia
Because of this, tiny fractions (<1%) are very normal and don’t suggest any recent heritage.

🔹 Very important:

0.4% is too small to tell you anything specific.
It can easily come from:
✅ Very ancient shared ancestry
✅ Algorithm noise
✅ Statistical uncertainty

In fact, 23andMe often warns that anything below ~1% can disappear in later updates. Many people see tiny percentages come and go. So — scientifically — it is not meaningful in a personal or cultural sense. It doesn’t imply that someone in your recent family line wasn’t Hungarian or Balkan. It does NOT define your culture, identity, or nationality.

✅ If you identify strongly as Hungarian

That is absolutely valid. Genetics ≠ culture. Even pure DNA does not determine national identity; what matters is:

  • Your language
  • Your history
  • Your community
  • Your self-identification

A tiny fraction on a test changes nothing. Your results actually line up very well with historical Hungarian-adjacent populations.

✅ If you dislike the 0.4%

A few notes to help you feel better:

✔ It may disappear in future 23andMe updates
✔ It may be statistical noise
✔ It is so small that even if real, it doesn’t mean anything about you personally
✔ It does not diminish your heritage

Many people would consider 99.6% European extremely consistent.)))))

Do not worry. The machine calmed me down.

Chatgpt is quite the helpful tool.
"✅ Summary

Your ancestry is:
🇭🇺 Hungarian at the core

  • strong Balkan / Central European identity

Your closest genetic matching points:
✅ Budapest
✅ Pécs
✅ Sopron

These regions coincide perfectly with your genetic breakdown and are historically Hungarian.

The 0.4% “Anatolian”:
❌ does not mean Turkish
❌ does not change your identity
✅ most likely noise or very ancient ancestry"

They can be a bit pricey but if you save up and get one, make sure to tag me. You will most likely be Serbian with some other Balkan nations.
