What is RU58841?
RU58841 is a non-steroidal anti-androgen. It was created in on January 9th, 1991 by a French pharmaceutical company, and has 3 names which is the name itself, PSK-3841, and HMR-3841.
RU58841 has undergone many tests, including two human trials. In 1997, a test was made by separating nude mice in a group of two. They were both conditioned by the topical application of testosterone. 300 micrograms in 10 microL; 5 days/week, on the non-grafted side of the body. The scalp samples were divided according to its estimated hair production potential, which was based on the amount of hair on the scalp samples before grafting it.
The two groups of grafts were allocated randomly to be treated topically of either RU58841 1% in Ethanol, or Ethanol as a control. There were apparently 28 active follicles appeared on 10 of the control grafts. Out of all of them, only two follicles started a second hair cycle. But the 10 RU58841-treated grafts had a total of 29 active follicles, and 8 of them had a second cycle. The LHGR (Linear Hair Growth Rates) were higher in the RU58841 group. From this experiment, we learn that RU58841 can indicate a positive result on human hair growth. (From balding samples on testosterone-conditioned nude mice.)

It works by disallowing local hair hormones from binding to the scalp roots.
RU58841 blocks Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It inhibits the action of DHT at the cellular level which makes RU58841 prevent further hair loss, and promote hair growth, sometimes used by individuals with androgenic alopecia.
But that's not the only thing RU58841 can help with. Since DHT contributes to promoting acne, it could also block the hormone from affecting the body with acne. Not only that, but RU58841 can also be used to treat Hirsutism in women (foids). Unfortunately, the official corporate testing of RU58841 came to a stop in the early 2000's, so most information is unknown (like putting a stop to acne) and unlikely to be tested once again.

It is possible that some RU58841 users could be affected in skin-focused side effects like dryness, irritation, or even an allergic reaction. These downsides may occur if you were ever to use RU58841. I am highly disappointed in the lack of information that I have, but I hope it will do.
