I’m pretty confident she liked me.
I was socially awkward but tried to converse, which ig did a lot of the work. She used to come up to me in the hallways in between classes to talk to me, even if it was obvious she wasn’t a super smooth talker, she wasn’t a social retard or anything. It was obvious that she didn’t really know what to say and just talked about whatever she could come up with in the moment (schoolwork, most of the time)—she repeated conversation topics often, which is why I think she was coming up to me out of interest in me rather than the conversation specifically. I was too shy to approach so she was the one who started the majority of conversations. I remember she complimented my jawline out of nowhere once as well. Unfortunately, i became extremely depressed and self-conscious around January and started avoiding her and neglected my appearance completely, dropped the class I had with her because I was borderline failing as I wasn’t putting in any effort, and she stopped approaching me and got a boyfriend.
