It means microneedling for too long can be counterproductive, or injecting a filler that causes too much inflammation is counterproductive and causes its own downfall

HA (Hyaluronic acid) is important for your skin, you don't want to cause overinflammation to it and start overproducing hyaluronidase, thus making it look less hydrated
