What kind of function are you describing? Wanting to get bigger is a function? Being more athletic is a function. Increasing fitness is a function.

If you’re so worried about functional movements or whatever you’re best off just doing underhand deadlifts, shoulder presses, and maybe box squats since those three movements are the only ones the average person does.

If you see anyone shill functional fitness they’re just scamming you.

As long as you’re active and you stretch and you don’t stress yourself too much and you have good posture you shouldn’t have to worry about back pain

Keep moving to promote blood flow to the area
Walking in itself is functional fitness
