Just listen here, i am NOT saying that we should start fundraisers where we tell that the purpose is to fund our own plastic surgeries, but if one start a fundraiser claiming that the purpose is to for example help poor children in Africa, and collect the money. Once the goal is reached or enough is collected, one is only legally required to use a certain percentage of the collected money for that purpose if i know right. I have heard that in my jurisdiction, only 13% of the collected money must go to that purpose. Rest you can use as you want i think. So i think one can do this legally. Not that i actually care. A short prison-sentence is worth it to escape the horror of living as an incel.
But do any of you know if it is actually legal to only use a certain percentage of money collected through fundraisers on goal described in the fundraising text?
