fungal folliculitis

I think i might have fungal folliculitis im on 40mg accutane, 0,5mg dutasteride and i still have acne. But the acne is most part on the shoulder, back, neck and mustache area and it usually worsens with bumps and small white heads when i shave. I get pretty similar to this:

Anyone dealt with the same? I also have seboreich dermatitis on my scalp so ive tried ketakanozole and it doesnt really improve should i try oral Fluconazole?

You need like 5 appointments with a doctor before you can even get to a dermatologist and the waitlist is like half a year in norway for dermatologist

give it a try to doxycycline.

I always struggled with Barbae Folliculitis which seems to be similar to what you're describing, and it always works like wonders.

This is due to bacteria, so Accutane and even Dut won't do much

The only problem is that you need a prescription to get a hold of doxycycline, unless u get it from IndiaMart.

Yes but doxcy kills bacteria not yeast and will potentially worsen folliculitis it will just kill bacteria and allow yeast to grow even more.

Yeast folliculitis exists, but what you’re describing, especially flaring after shaving, is way more like bacterial/irritation folliculitis.

Fungal doesn’t usually react to shaving like that.

If it was fungal, ketoconazole would’ve at least improved it a bit. Since it didn’t, bacterial is way more likely.

Im unsure because i really never tried to apply my ketakanozol on my neck or shoulder just my scalp because of seboreich dermatitis. And barbae fullocilities its normally just neck, jaw area but i also got on my shoulders, back etc and its strongly related to seboreich dermatitis

well tbh you got a shit ton of skin conditions

IMO you should really see a derm, regardless if it's a bit pricey + it takes a few time to actually get the appointments.

stressing ur skin with more actives than you need is never a good idea

especially since you're on accutane

Well yea i had a dermatologist appointment but when it was time i had to move to another city for my studies and now im on waiting list again for like half a year

bro theses was being on my hair its was so brutal i used konazol, there is ketanazol in ts shampoo maybe it will fixs it

Yea but only when i get active and sweaty/hot sometimes it just really itchy but ive had it for like 6 years now so its a bit more calm then the beginning then it was brutal

if there is pain its means its a bacterial follicitics but if its js itching its a fungal follicitics, are u sure abt u have fungal follicitics cuz the treatment of theses are so diffrent

Oh i was describing the itching from seboreich dermatitis on my scalp. But yea i do sometimes get kinda itchy on the jaw from the bumps so i would assume its fungal since i also got alot of acne on my shoulders

oh then ur so unlucky cuz the fungal follicitics are healing so long time i has a fungal pigment diffrences and its in my body for like 1 year and if u search abt the fungal follicitics u will see its healing for a long time, keep going to use the antifungal smthings and wait cuz it will take ur time

I read treatment with oral fluconazole is only 2-3 weeks with like 150mg once a week

my fungal was abt pigments like my body was vitiligo its in my body for a 1 year, i dont think ur fungal will fix 2-3 week maybe its a strong treatment but mine was not oral js like cream

Ye topical treatments are always weaker then systemic so makes sense im probably gonna ask my doctor for pescription or order it from indiamart. Also rep me please
