I’m 16, 6’3”, 240 lbs.
I’ve been trying seriously to lose weight for a long time. I’ve dieted hard, worked out consistently, and even cut food down to around two meals a day with some light snacks. Despite this, the harder I try to lose weight, the more weight I seem to gain. In the last month alone, I’ve gained over 10 pounds, which has been extremely frustrating and confusing.
At this point, it feels like my body is fighting me. Hunger is constant, stress is high, and nothing seems to move the scale in the right direction, even when I’m doing what should be working. I’ve tried different diets, workout routines, and approaches over many months, and I keep ending up worse instead of better.
Because of this, I recently decided to try a GLP-1–based approach (retatrutide / “Reta”) to see if addressing appetite regulation and metabolic signaling helps where diet and training alone haven’t.
For those with experience using this, how much should I start taking?
