I’m 16, 6’3”, 240 lbs.

I’ve been trying seriously to lose weight for a long time. I’ve dieted hard, worked out consistently, and even cut food down to around two meals a day with some light snacks. Despite this, the harder I try to lose weight, the more weight I seem to gain. In the last month alone, I’ve gained over 10 pounds, which has been extremely frustrating and confusing.

At this point, it feels like my body is fighting me. Hunger is constant, stress is high, and nothing seems to move the scale in the right direction, even when I’m doing what should be working. I’ve tried different diets, workout routines, and approaches over many months, and I keep ending up worse instead of better.

Because of this, I recently decided to try a GLP-1–based approach (retatrutide / “Reta”) to see if addressing appetite regulation and metabolic signaling helps where diet and training alone haven’t.

For those with experience using this, how much should I start taking?

2mg then titrate up, also stick to the same couples meals.

I’d prolly do 20 week cut,

2mg for the first 4 weeks,

3.5mg - 4mg for the rest,

You can up towards the end but I’d wait 2 weeks to up the dose. It will really keep ur appetite in control so you really gotta plan what ur gonna be eating

How's your thyroid? I'm not familiar with pharmaceuticals but your thyroid could be the root cause. I'm not sure though, I'm just a retard.
