historicly countrys like denmark weren't as good as germany for instance but are now great and happy countries.
italie, greece, portugal, spain france, germany and UK are still super powers but have fallen alot. I have been to italy and it's a great country but so mafia infested that it doesn't compare to france and most people in southern france go to Italy for cheeper products JFL (cigarettes...)

the poorer countries like moldova, even if they get mogged are still beautiful and more traditional places even albania is stunning.

I don't know how you define good history, but the only time Russia was somewhat semi European WAS the times where it was ruled by the Germans.

I disagree, Germany was not a thing until like the 19th century, meanwhile the Danes had the VIKING influences, which shaped European history both of England and France (who later became the Normans)

I like France, the UK, Spain, but saying they are still superpowers is such a stretch, only the UK, but that's counting global Anglo INFLUENCE, not just Anglo Anglos, but Anglo-Americans, Anglo-Australians, and so on, and France is a great power, they are well on their own, but not a superpower.
