I don’t think I’ve ever found a great place anywhere with interesting people without it being gatekept. The reason for this is because actually Interesting and authentic people tend to actually interact with their interest and always wants to learn more about it or seek more or better quality of it. Because of this the most gatekept things are usually filled with the more cultured people.
