The rate of success is 95%, and I think that of the 5% that are counted as failed surgeries only like 10% are considered botches. The other 90% have less severe issues that you can probably live with. So it's like a 99.5% success rate if the threshold for failure is looking worse than before, or severe nerve or brain damage like you mentioned.
