When you have kids they will indeed inherit all your problems (and advantages), of course it will be only half of them because the rest will be result of their other parent problems (and advantages). Thats why having children is such an accountability, because you are creating being whose body will be in half your copy and in half copy of your partner thus if you have any major mental, physical, financial or social problems your offspring will surely inherit them all.
