generic appeal(features blend in together) vs alien appeal(1 feature that overshadows the rest)

the one with generic appeal has more feminine youth esque
features that blend in and would appeal to most men
the one with alien appeal has features that are striking and appeal to a certain group
I've asked people and majority rated generic good looks(Micheal merger, mathew noszka, Henry cavil e.t.c) always higher than alien appeal(barret, Elias de poot, Sean opry e.t.c
even though both appeals are still attractive
this is my first thread and tell me what you guys think
