He didn't brand it, he just started using the word since everyone was doing it. Never has he said did he discover myofunctional therapy, he just promoted it a lot. Look up the videos on orthotropics channel, there are a few of them in which he explicitly says that he did not give this name and that he wants to make it clear that he did not discover anything.
